If you’re the first-time user of CBD Tincture or Oil in 2021, you may be confused about a few concepts that are important to the purchase, such as whether you should start with CBD Tincture 1000mg or what is “full-spectrum”, a phrase that’s getting thrown around a lot recently. 1) What is full-spectrum CBD Tincture? 

CBD Tincture is one CBD product that combines the effective CBD content in some kind of mixture with a carrier oil and naturally flavored oils like cinnamon or peppermint. It comes in liquid format and is widely used by putting it in food or drinks, or dropping it in the mouth directly. Full-spectrum means that the CBD used here contains not only CBD, but other cannabinoids derived from the hemp plant.

Both CBD Tincture and CBD Oil are considered “strong” kinds of CBD products compared to CBD topicals. People who choose to consume CBD tincture or CBD oil mostly are looking for some serious relief or soothing experience to a range of physical and mental discomforts such as anxiety, insomnia, stress, and chronic pains. 

The main differences between these two are the process through which CBD in these two final products is extracted from the hemp product, and the means through which CBD is preserved/carried in these two products. 

The CBD part in CBD Oil comes from the seeds, flowers, and stalks of the hemp plant. It is the most expensive format of Hemp derivatives and contains other nutrients such as fatty acids and essential vitamins other than the well-known CBD. This is partly due to the carrying agents of CBD in CBD oil products, which are usually coconut oil or olive oil. 

The CBD component of CBD Tincture is a result of a suspension process of the hemp plant, under 60% – 70% distilled alcohol. CBD tincture boasts all the health benefits CBD Oils have minus the additional benefits from the carrying oils combined with the CBD oils. 

In terms of usage, this is actually where CBD Tincture and CBD Oil overlap. Both are safe to be consumed sublingually and are trendy supplements in food and drinks nowadays.     

3) Should I start off with CBD Tincture 1000mg? 

If you’re new to the CBD Tincture market, you might be hesitant to choose the strength of CBD Tincture or CBD Oil you’re shopping for. How to choose CBD Tincture strength probably deserves a post of its own so we’re just going to briefly touch on this topic here and hopefully it can be helpful to you while choosing your first CBD Tincture or Oil. 

First, you should know that full-spectrum CBD Tincture or Oil doesn’t mean that the final product you get is full of nothing but CBD. Although the added-on carrying agencies or other cannabinoids usually bring extra health benefits to the table, they do make it difficult for customers to determine the CBD potency. So before you make any purchase, make sure you read the label to know the CBD strength, in milligrams, of the product.

4) Is flavored CBD Tincture a good fit to me? 

Healthy food may not taste good. We all have experience in this. The same thing happens to CBD Tinctures.
