FAQs

Q: What are the benefits of Fleurtiva?

A: There is still a lot of research being done on CBD’s, and we do not profess to treat, cure, or prevent any disease. However, a large and growing number of people including medical professionals, have attested to a variety of benefits such as helping to promote stress relief, anti-inflammation, enhanced mental acuity, mood balancing, and sleep enhancement. We recommend you research it, try it for yourself, or contact your health care practitioner to find out more.

Q: What type of CBD is used in Fleurtiva?

A: We use hemp-derived full spectrum CBD, which contains multiple cannabinoids in addition to Cannabidiol (CBD), such as CBN (Cannabinol), CBG (Cannabigerol), THCV (Tetrahydrocannabivarin), and Terpenes. While there is still more research to be done, there are indications that show cannabinoids and terpenes work synergistically together, to provide anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial benefits.

Q: Why do your CBD Daily products use CBD isolate while your Fleurtiva Hemp CBD Drops use full spectrum CBD?

A: The CBD isolate we use for CBD Daily is THC-free, while the Fleurtiva Hemp CBD Drops contain less than .3% THC. Both are legal, and beneficial in promoting overall health and wellness. The main difference is that the full spectrum CBD contains multiple cannabinoids working together, while the isolate contains only CBD, with zero THC.

Q: Where does the CBD used in Fleurtiva come from?

A: We source the CBD from regenerative hemp farms in New York, and surrounding areas.

Q: What kind of testing/analysis is performed on your products?

A: We conduct third party testing with an independent lab to verify the potency and purity of our products.

Q: Does Fleurtiva use only natural ingredients?

A: Yes, Fleurtiva products are all natural. We use only hempseed oil and hemp (CBD) oil, both derived from the hemp plant.

A: While the products are 100% vegan and animal cruelty free, PETA and Leaping Bunny do not certify these types of products.

Q: Are Fleurtiva Hemp CBD Drops gluten-free?

A: Yes.

Q: Has the FDA banned companies from selling CBD ingestible products?

A: The FDA is still evaluating its stance on CBD products, and is under quite a bit of pressure from congress to allow the use of CBD’s. Right now, their main stance has been to warn companies not to make any claims about the use of ingestible CBD’s to treat or prevent disease. We do not make claims about the medical uses of our products and, instead encourage you to do your own research and to discuss your concerns with your health care practitioner before starting any new dietary supplement.

Q: How much of Fleurtiva Hemp CBD Drops should I take?

The amount of CBD that is recommended can vary based on your individual tolerances, body size, and needs. We recommend starting with 1 ml (one dropper full) once or twice per day for the 500 mg, and 0.5 ml (half a dropper full) for the 1000 mg, and then adjusting the amount as needed.

Q: Can I use Fleurtiva on my pet?

A: Fleurtiva was designed for human consumption.   Please check with your veterinarian or other pet health care provider before using for your pets.

Q: Will I experience any adverse side effects when I take Fleurtiva?

A: Hemp is considered to be safe and is not known for any adverse side effects. That said, everyone responds differently and has different tolerances. We recommend you consult with your health care practitioner before ingesting, if in question.

Q: What method of extraction is used for the CBD in Fleurtiva Hemp CBD Drops?

A: We use a method of cryoethanol extraction, whereby ethanol heated to -83°C is showered over semi-ground hemp multiple times to collect the cannabinoids and the ethanol is then evaporated out leaving the crude distillate. That distillate is then further refined using short path distillation, a process using heat and pressure that removes solvents, and maximizes the purity of the cannabinoids extracted.

Q: Why did you choose to use Cryoethanol vs. CO2 extraction?

A: Both cryoethanol and CO2 extractions are good, clean processes which result in premium, solvent-free cannabinoid distillation when done properly. For Fleurtiva we chose to use cryoethanol because it is easy to maintain the equipment used, and to maintain the process with exacting standards, and it allows for the ability to scale up production without affecting the quality of the cannabinoid that is extracted.
